We got the lamp from an antique store on the Eastern Shore of Virginia near Cape Charles. Doug and I went there for a weekend getaway before I was pregnant with Rylee. We go back there often to look for seaglass and relax.
I am a wife, stay at home mom, and college student. I am married to my best friend, Doug, and we have 3 beautiful daughters. I am blessed to be able to live near my family on the island where I grew up. My goal with this blog is to take a little time out of every day to really look at the world around me and reflect on the things I love about it.
It's simple. Take a photo a day. Inspired by a wonderful group of friends, my goal is to take a few moments out of each day to take a closer look at the world around me. Thank you, Angie, for the idea! Hopefully I'll smile a little more, discover new things, and become a better photographer along the way.
