It really wasn't as romantic as it looks Kim. I was on the computer sipping a glass of white wine, Doug was in the kitchen and had poured his glass. I snatched it from him to take the pics. I wasn't sure I liked the fire in the background, but the coffee table was the only flat surface not cluttered:)
Never could have gotten as good as a picture without the tripod though. It was a pretty slow shutter speed.
I am a wife, stay at home mom, and college student. I am married to my best friend, Doug, and we have 3 beautiful daughters. I am blessed to be able to live near my family on the island where I grew up. My goal with this blog is to take a little time out of every day to really look at the world around me and reflect on the things I love about it.
It's simple. Take a photo a day. Inspired by a wonderful group of friends, my goal is to take a few moments out of each day to take a closer look at the world around me. Thank you, Angie, for the idea! Hopefully I'll smile a little more, discover new things, and become a better photographer along the way.
How romantic!!
ReplyDeleteGreat photo Christy!

I need some wine now...
ReplyDeleteThat is a great low light shot. I love how the background looks so warm and golden.
